Coaching Style

Coaching style

Over the last 20 years Hilary has conducted thousands of hours of one-to-one coaching and facilitated hundreds of workshops and offsites.  Clients say her style is:

  • All about you - helping you understand yourself better, ‘being on your side’, taking into account the whole you and your context

  • Outcome oriented – working with you to identify ways forward with clarity and confidence, helping you understand and remove barriers to progress, whether they are real or perceived

  • Grounded in a real relationship – based on mutual respect, trust and confidence

  • Energetic and positive – vital to ensure the time we spend together is focused, valuable, and importantly, enjoyable

  • Focused on generating insights with you, based on real experience and common sense – confident in our relationship to challenge ideas and share insights, giving candid feedback to enhance your thinking,

  • Not about giving answers – but about helping you to develop your options and choices. She will provide morale support through difficult times, but always bring you back to the challenges you have chosen to work with

  • Concentrating our dialogue on value and real business outcomes – whatever that means for you and your teams

  • Pragmatic, action and performance orientated -  this is your world.  Being pragmatic about your reality, identifying where action is needed and keeping it simple will make all the difference to creating the change you seek

Typically Hilary meet with clients monthly for a 90 minute/ 2-hour one to one session.  Email and 'in-between' telephone support is always available.  Outcomes from each meeting will typically be your 'ah-ha moments' and insights, and your choices about what actions you may choose to take as a result
